We’ll arrange for an experienced teacher. / I’ve arranged for a taxi. 2.后接事情作賓語(yǔ)時(shí),其后接不接介詞for均可(在現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中以不接為多見(jiàn)):Would you like to arrange (for) a personal interview? 正因?yàn)楸硎?ldquo;安排”時(shí)不能直接跟某人作賓語(yǔ),所以要表示“安排某人做某事”,英語(yǔ)不能說(shuō)arrange sb to do sth,而說(shuō)arrange for sb to do sth:I’ve arranged for Mary to meet you at the airport. 類(lèi)似地,英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣上不說(shuō)hope sb to do sth,而說(shuō)hope for sb to do sth,不說(shuō)wait sb to do sth,而說(shuō)wait for sb to do sth,不說(shuō)long sb to do sth,而說(shuō)long for sb to do sth等。另外還有,英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣上不說(shuō)demand sb to do sth,而說(shuō)demand of sb to do sth。4.其后可接that引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句,從句謂語(yǔ)通常用虛擬語(yǔ)氣,但有時(shí)也可用將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài):They arranged that the meeting (should) be put off to Saturday. / I’ve arranged that one of our representiatives will meet you at the airmport. I’ve arranged for him to attend the meeting.=I’ve arranged that he (should) attend the meeting. Please arrange us an interview with the workers. Please arrange an interview with the workers for us.
